Adult Halloween Games
Many games that we remember from our childhood Halloween parties can be just as much fun when played as adults, or can be adapted for a more grown up theme. For instance, Twister, Apple Bobbing and Musical Chairs can be very entertaining. Here are some more ideas to get you started:
Pass the Orange
Divide your guests into 2 or more teams. Tie everyone’s hands behind their backs so they can’t use them. The object of the game is to be the first team to pass an orange under the chin of each player in turn, going round in a circle back to the beginner. This is harder than it sounds and if anyone drops the orange, they need to get down on their knees and pick it up again with their chin!
Pumpkin Carving
If you were doing this at a kids party, you might ask them to paint the pumpkins instead of using knives. Adults can enjoy the opportunity to be crafty and you can award various prizes for categories such as the Scariest etc.
Charades
You can play this in the usual way, but with answers based on Halloween or horror related movies, music or books.
Scavenger Hunt
If you’re really organized you could arrange a scavenger hunt for your party guests, where you send them out around the neighbourhood with a list of items to find and/or tasks to perform. Get them to take photos on their phones or digital cameras of their team with each item or performing each task. It’s best to set a time limit and the team that has completed the most items on their list wins.
