Halloween Table Decorations
Halloween themed decorations on your table will add to the spooky ambiance and creepy look of your party. You could buy a selection of inexpensive items from a store, or get creative and make your own. Here are some ideas for homemade and store bought table decorations.
Pumpkins
You could use small pumpkins, squashes or decorative gourds to make vases or candle holders. You could carve a jagged pattern around the edge and place a tealight inside, or fill the hollow shell with autumnal flowers and foliage.
Tablecloth
Make your own tablecloth from an old white sheet and then use red paint to make handprints and blood splatters. Or for a more tasteful look, stick a variety of leaves on the sheet.
Scary Items
Get a selection of cheap, plastic scary looking things from a store and lay them out across your table. Examples of suitably gory stuff include skulls, bloody fingers and other body parts, spiders and bats. You could hide some of them under guests plates or wrap them inside napkins.
Food
You can use items of food as edible decorations. For instance, make up a bowl of some fake eyeballs.
